Credentials

Over 15 years experience working with CAD design and the development of CAD/GIS systems. Experience with the following system platforms and software:

Windows 95, 98, 2000, XP, and NT platforms, DOS, UNIX, MicroStation, TriForma, GeoGraphics, Descartes, GEOPAK site, AutoCAD, I/RAS, MGE, Oracle, and ArcGIS.

While working as an instructor for Bentley Value Added Resellers, Dorothy was certified to teach the following Bentley authorized courses.

After becoming an independent consultant Dorothy has used her extensive MicroStation knowledge to create courseware and seminars for a variety of MicroStation based organizations.

Created and presented workshops in Getting to Know TriForma at the Bentley Forum in San Jose and Plotting with MicroStation at the Bentley Forum in Long Beach.
Customized Bentley software, created customized courseware, and trained employees for East Bay Municipal Utility District Construction Inspection Division.
Created customized MicroStation courseware and provided training for employees of the following organizations:

She has provided MicroStation training and consulting services to state and local government agencies, research facilities and private companies throughout Northern California.
Dorothy has helped clients with their migration from MicroStation J to MicroStation V8. She started by creating or updating CAD standards, created workspaces for each discipline in the organization including configuration, and customization. She then provided upgrade training to CAD users utilizing their new workspaces.
